Northern Stars Swim School opened in April 2010 and is operated by Siria and Mal Thomas and Cheryl Grose. Cheryl had a vision of owning her own swim school with daughter Siria, and within the space of 10 weeks they transformed an empty shed in the northern suburbs of Wollongong into a purpose built swim centre offering swimming lessons for babies through to adults, a mini-squad program, aquafit classes and school holiday accelerator programs.
With over 20 years of combined swim teaching experience between them they are passionate about water safety and teaching children of all ages and all needs how to swim. They believe swimming is the most important skill a child can learn and are committed to providing high quality swimming lessons and mini-squad program to their clients.
